These are the strong women we admire in 2022!

What do strong women do differently? What makes them stand out from the crowd? We’ll tell you which women have particularly inspired us at Zadaa! In our eyes, great personalities always speak their mind, regardless of whether the audience likes their opinion or not. They don’t let themselves be bent and show courage when others don’t. We are inspired by strong women who show kindness, generosity, compassion, and integrity. These five women embody most of these values, and we are forever inspired by them, and their unique styles. Here is your chance to get to know them better!

Princess Diana is considered THE Queen of Hearts and is the first on our list. She revived the British monarchy and changed it forever. During the AIDS epidemic in the 80s, Princess Diana challenged the stigma surrounded the illness with every hug. In April 1987, at the height of the AIDS epidemic, while many turned away and ignored what was happening, Princess Diana opened the UK’s first specialist HIV/AIDS unit at London’s Middlesex Hospital, a space that would exclusively care for patients with the virus.

While visiting the unit, she famously noted, ‘HIV does not make people dangerous to know. You can shake their hands and give them a hug. Heaven knows they need it. What’s more, you can share their homes, their workplaces, and their playgrounds and toys.’

She was involved in over 100 charitable organizations and, even after her tragic death, continues to inspire women of all ages with her kind and warm-hearted nature. Her penchant for prints, color accents, and slim, timeless silhouettes also made her a true style icon. I think we all remember her iconic bike shorts/university sweatshirt/sneaker-combo. A classic!

We all know Emma Watson thanks to her iconic role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter movies. In the meantime, she has not only grown up, but is passionately committed to fair trade and more sustainability in the fashion industry! She is a UN ambassador for women’s rights and an important member of the HeForShe campaign, which campaigns for gender equality worldwide. Her tireless will to use her fame for a good cause inspires us daily, and in addition, we love that Emma relies primarily on sustainable brands for her looks!

Michaela Jaé Rodriguez also deserves a place in our series of inspiring women. She became best known for her role as Blanca Rodriguez-Evangelista in the FX series Pose for which she became the first transgender actress to win a Golden Globe Award. “This is the door that will open for many more young talents,” Rodriguez shared in an Instagram post celebrating her win. It’s been a long road to finally be recognized for her performance as a transgender woman, but she’s shown that when new avenues don’t exist yet, you have to create them yourself!

Megan Thee Stallion‘s mother, Holly Thomas, was a rapper known as Holly-Wood. She always took Megan with her to the music studio and thus music practically raised her. As soon as Megan had released her first rap song, a huge fan base gathered around her. The rest is history. Megan was the first female rapper to sign with the prestigious record label 300 Entertainment and today she stands for women empowerment and self-confidence. These values she shows with her strong looks!

And lastly, Priyanka Chopra Jonas. The former Miss World and Bollywood celebrity took over Hollywood by storm. During the pandemic, her own foundation produced 500 oxygen concentrators to provide oxygen to more than 2500 Corona patients each month. In addition, she has written numerous critical columns addressing the lives and safety of women in India. We also love her super feminine style because she knows how to perfectly showcase her curves with flowing dresses.

Psst! Their way of expressing their strong personalities through fashion have inspired us a lot. Steal their looks with preloved treasures on Zadaa!
