#ZadaaLooks

The winter was long and tough, especially this year. That’s why we think it’s time to talk about some fun and cool topics again – things that’ll make us excited and give us a creative outlet expression! That’s why we’re going to be introducing some of 2021s coolest styles to you in Zadaa over the course of the next few weeks. These will be styles that you can easily shop secondhand via Zadaa.

What is #ZadaaLooks?

It’s an international fashion show in our virtual Showroom with changing styles from different countries. We’ll have different #ZadaaLooks every week for you to explore. The most inspiring influencers will present their styles and open their wardrobes to you to shop.

But that’s not all! Get involved by listing your favourite items and get featured. This means that if you are selling something that would fit the look of the week, add our campaign hashtags to your item description and you will be featured in the Showroom! Inspire and get inspired.

This week the spotlight is on #Streetwear.

Streetwear. It’s a word that gets tossed around a lot these days, but how do we really define the catch-all term that includes everything from retro Nikes to baggy jeans to oversized sweatshirts. But what we do know is that streetwear is currently one of the biggest trends in fashion. And it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere.

Most streetwear enthusiasts would identify the beginning of streetwear with the rise of hip-hop in mainstream culture. And for us that are old enough to remember that would be around the 80s and 90s. The two movements have gone hand in hand in the last 40 years. From Tupac’s dungarees and LL Cool J’s bucket hat to Kanye’s Yeezys. It is evident that streetwear has both formed and emerged from rap culture. And, just like with rap and hip hop music, streetwear has quickly gone from fringe to mainstream with designers now producing bold logo tees, collectable sneakers and so on.

In other words, streetwear is now a big part of the fashion world. And it isn’t just for rappers and skaters. Whether you’re a mom, a high school kid or Rihanna, you can use streetwear pieces to be more stylish.

So make sure to keep an eye out for our #Streetwear theme in the Showroom this week. It’s a good opportunity to keep up with the trends of today.
